2013 On The Farm
Another Season has started here at Wights Fresh Turkey Farm The first batch of baby chicks arrived the end of June and are doing great. They will stay in the brooder coops until they are 7 weeks old then they will be big enough to move them outside to enjoy the fresh air and sunshine. The second flock will be coming in 3 weeks later . We feed the turkeys an all natural feed that we mix ourselves right here on the farm. No growth hormones or antibiotics are added to our feed just top quality grains, minerals and vitimins. We also feed them local pasture grass and hay so they get a very well balanced healthy diet. All the feeding the first seven weeks is done by hand into small feeders. With all the care for the birds being done by the two of us and our little granddaughter it keeps them calm when we are in working with them. . It is very important to us to give them the very best care because we take alot of pride in producing a top quality turkey for our customers. We also have already started taking orders for the 2013 Thanksgiving Season so gives us a call at 801-731-3760 and reserve yours now.
